SEATTLE KING COUNTY REALTORS offers 1st time renewal courses to fulfill post licensing requirements for the real estate professional in Washington State. 

Are you renewing your real estate license for the first time?

All renewals for those licensed after July 1, 2010 are required to take this course.

If you have NEVER renewed your license before, you must complete:

  • 30-clock hours of Advanced Real Estate Practices course,
  • 30-clock hours of Real Estate Law course, and
  • 30 hours of other approved real estate courses, including the three-hour Core Curriculum course.

You must complete ALL eight days to receive 60 clock hours

 

ADVANCED WASHINGTON REAL ESTATE PRACTICES – 30 Clock Hours
IN CLASS
(Mondays 8:30-4:30) - March 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th

 

This is a mandatory course for new licensees after July 1, 2010.

If you are renewing your license for the first time or just want to learn more about practicing real estate A through Z, this course is a must.

Take your business to the next level.

This course will cover brokerages, agency relationships, including the relationship between real estate brokers and their affiliated licensees, CMA’s and property management. Students will examine types of listing agreements and negotiation techniques, as well as problem solving and business practices.

This course along, with the Real Estate Law course is required for all 1st license renewals for those brokers licensed after July 1st, 2010.

 

REAL ESTATE LAW – 30 Clock Hours
IN CLASS
(Tuesdays 8:30-4:30) - March 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th

 

This is a mandatory course for new licensees after July 1, 2010.

If you are renewing your license for the first time or just want to learn more about WA real estate law, this course is a must.

This course will cover the relationship between everyday practice and the law. The role of brokers, Washington license law, agency law, contracts, torts, the legal environment, and current topics will be discussed, with examples, case studies, and activities.
