Jason Watabe Awarded NAR’s Liaison Of The Year

Former SKCR President Jason Watabe, the NAR President’s Liaison to Japan, was honored for his efforts by NAR as 2013 Liaison Of The Year. Since 2009, Jason and the SKCR Global Council’s mission has been to strengthen the relationship with organized Japanese real estate through education and exchange programs with the goal of establishing a referral network for the mutual benefit of the cooperating real estate associations and NAR.

Jason successfully worked with the major real estate associations, private entities and the government of Japan to form the Japan American Real Estate Coalition Office (JARECO). This office works to further the understanding and cooperation between the American and Japanese real estate markets.

The Association congratulates Jason for his many years of service and success in opening the gateway for a real estate alliance with Japan.
