Northwest MLS unveils tool to streamline showings
This article is from the February issue of the NW REporter.
ShowingTime™, an online scheduling and management tool, will be added to the technology toolbox for members of Northwest Multiple Listing Service during February. Activation date is February 10.
As part of the rollout, brokers are invited to take part in Quick-Start Workshops to get a jump-start on its functionality. The MLS also offers a 2-minute preview video, a 7-minute overview video, a user guide, and webinar to acquaint users with the tool’s features.
The training includes instructions for activating, customizing, creating showing tours for buyers, and accessing the ShowingTime app.
The creators of ShowingTime promise a better process to schedule showings, get real estate feedback and track buyer inquiries. Company president Michael Lane said the efficiencies are measurable, adding, “We equip agents with the means to automatically notify sellers when they’re running late or early to a showing, or when the showing is completed so they can return home. Everyone involved in the process benefits.”
ShowingTime is used in 53,000-plus real estate offices across more than 230 multiple listing services that support around 800,000 agents. Its users currently report more than 3 million showings every month.
