Over 230 guests and past recipients of the award joined the celebration on May 25, 2016 at the historic Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Three REALTOR® firms joined Seattle King County REALTORS® in presenting the 78th award; John L. Scott Real Estate, RE/MAX and Windermere Real Estate.
The event was emceed by Steve Raible with sincere and often amusing tributes made by two former State of Washington Governors, Christine Gregoire and Gary Locke, and by Steve Davis, President and CEO of PATH, and Marth Choe, former CAO at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
A musical tribute was performed by Shannon Cassidy, “Ten Grands Seattle” pianist and honors student.
The First Citizen Award was presented by Seattle King County REALTORS® 2016 President, Patti Hill.
