Celebrating Community Service – Laura Roth

RothThe association’s 2016 Community Service award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the community through leadership, volunteer and charitable activities, went to Laura Roth, Laura has been a real estate broker for 16 years, and is the Designated Broker Owner of RE/MAX Choice Executives in Covington.

She is passionate about the well-being of children, which has led her to several volunteer and community service opportunities. As President of the Covington Kiwanis club she helps raise money to support the local food banks, provides books to the local Headstart program, provides funds to the Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program, and assists the Kentlake Key Club in raising funds to attend District leadership convention.

Laura is an Ambassador for “Vine Maple Place”, an Independent nonprofit charity that serves homeless  children and their families. She is the Co-Founder and current President of Mighty Miracles a 501(c)3, which raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Laura is also a volunteer and supporter for “Purple Light Nights” which raises awareness of domestic violence issues and its affect upon children and families.

In addition Laura, mother of 4, also serves as Co-Chair on the Covington Economic Development Council supporting and assisting Covington businesses in growing toward greatness through a commitment of continued collaboration, education, and communication.
