AREAA’s legislative update with REALTOR® policy expert

The Asian Real Estate Association of America’s (AREAA) Greater Seattle Chapter presented their 2017 Legislative Update on May 4^th at the Bellevue Club. Michael Orbino, Vice President of Governmental & Public Affairs for Seattle King County REALTORS®, was the guest speaker for the event. Michael Orbino currently serves as a Managing Broker for John L. Scott and sits on the company’s Presidential Advisory Council.

Michael addressed over 100 AREAA members, focusing on national, state and local real estate legislation. He covered several key concerns for REALTORS® including potential regulatory changes impacting the business, outlook for market rate housing and condos, and tax reform.
