National Leaders Spotlight: Rich Bergdahl

To kick off the new year, we’re featuring outstanding REALTORS® here on our website to highlight the great work our members are doing for the Association at the national level. In his 19 years as a REALTOR®, Rich Bergdahl, broker with RE/MAX Northwest Kirkland, has enjoyed concurrent active involvement in many roles at Seattle King County REALTORS® (last 15 years), Washington REALTORS® (16 years), and the National Association of REALTORS® (six years).

Bergdahl serves on NAR’s Legal Affairs Committee and as the Chair of the Amicus Brief Advisory Board within the Committee. The Amicus Brief Advisory Board reviews proposals for NAR to participate as amicus curiae, or “friend of the court,” in litigation of concern to the real estate industry. The Legal Action program provides financial assistance to REALTORS®, Associations, MLSs, property owners, and others engaged in litigation that may have important precedential significance to the real estate industry. Bergdahl also serves as a Director for NAR.
