2018 Hill Day Series: REALTORS® and Affiliates make their voices heard in Olympia

Last week, over 70 Seattle King County REALTORS^® and Affiliates made the trip to Olympia for the Washington REALTORS^® Legislative Hill Day. The day was packed with nearly 55 meetings with legislators, during which REALTORS^® had the opportunity to share stories about the how their clients are faring in a market with a severe shortage of affordable housing options.

Hill Day is just one of the ways REALTORS^® advocate for the real estate industry and help consumers enjoy the benefits of homeownership. Said first-time Hill Day attendee Jason Gibbons, “I’ve been licensed for going on 14 years, but just getting involved with SKCR and WR and NAR has completely opened up a different part of my career. Coming to Hill Day and actually sitting in these rooms, just having very real conversations, it really hits home.”
