Election for 2021 Local NAR Directors on July 15

The Board has announced July 15, 2020 as the date when Seattle King County REALTORS® will elect representatives of the Association to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The Association will elect two of our three representatives to the NAR Board of Directors this year. These Board representatives serve two-year terms and attend national meetings to represent Seattle King County REALTOR® members at the national level. The Association’s local Board of Directors, along with our delegation of state directors, will act as the electors. They will meet virtually through the Association at 11:30 a.m. to hear from the declared candidates and then cast ballots.

The deadline for submitting a Candidate Application Form was July 6.  All applications are reviewed and approved by the Nominations Committee before a candidate is declared eligible. Minimum requirements include service as a state director and attendance at an NAR meeting within the past three years and service as a local committee member within the past five years.
