Member Survey Results are in – Thank you for your valuable feedback!

Seattle King County REALTORS® recently concluded a member survey in June.

Reaching out to members and collecting a variety of opinions and insights not only helps us make changes and improvements, but also helps us plan for the future.

The survey was facilitated by nSight Marketing and was sent to all active members of Seattle King County REALTORS®. The response rate was 5%.

Key Highlights

Business

85% of respondents noted that their business was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in some way.

31% indicated that it was a challenge not being able to host open houses and having limited in-person interaction. 43% reported that there was pullback from buyers and sellers due to uncertainties and fears (related to safety and finance) caused by the pandemic. Aside from sellers placing their listings on hold and buyers choosing to wait, REALTORS® also did not want to put themselves, and their family members and clients at risk.

15% did not see much effect on their business. A few mentioned that the past few months were a good time to get organized and focus on new marketing and showing methods. Others noted that that they have seen more business productivity since the beginning of this phase.

Member Satisfaction with Association Services

Legislative updates, information on the educational program, real estate trends, and the housing economy were rated as the most valuable types of information provided by the Association.

Members are most satisfied with the following services/tools most relevant to their business:

• Delivery of legal topics that are impacting their business (89.1% satisfaction),
• Trends/data and industry updates relevant to their business (88% satisfaction),
• Continuing education offers (82.5% satisfaction),
• Advocacy work to protect the industry (76.5% satisfaction).

These results are in line with our 2019 Member Survey.

Members also indicated that the Association can improve on providing more networking opportunities and more information on membership benefits.
