Georgia Stevens named 2021 NAR YPN Chair
Georgia Stevens, 2020 President of Seattle King County REALTORS®, has been appointed 2021 Chair of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Young Professionals Network (YPN).
Georgia is a Managing Broker at Compass and is currently the Vice-Chair of the NAR YPN. As part of the YPN Advisory Board, she has been serving 500+ networks across the nation that participate on all levels of association involvement. She will continue to lead professionals through Association activities, advocacy, peer mentoring, and community involvement as the 2021 Chair.
“The National Association of REALTORS® YPN board provides a critical platform for young and new REALTORS® to connect regardless of firm or brand or experience or production,” said Georgia. “Fostering this type of healthy unbiased networking is critical now more than ever and that’s what I look forward to the most.”
Georgia’s YPN experience goes back over a decade, when King County established its YPN network in 2009. During her tenure, the King County network was awarded NAR’s medium YPN Network of the Year Award in 2012. That early success with YPN helped launch her into other local, state and national leadership positions. She has served on the SKCR Board of Directors since 2011.
In addition to her Board involvement, Georgia has been very active in Association government and legislative affairs.
Georgia is a second-generation REALTOR® who practiced for many years with her mother, Carole Wall. Carole also served on the local Board in 1998.
