Seattle King County REALTORS® partners with NAR on Mentorship program

Seattle King County REALTORS® has been selected as one of eight associations across the country to partner with the National Association of REALTORS® in a unique mentorship program to assist and encourage careers in real estate for traditionally under-represented communities.

The new program pairs an experienced real estate professional (Mentor) with an individual who is interested in exploring and developing a career (Mentee) in any facet of real estate, from sales to marketing to technology to property management or staging. The Mentor and Mentee go through a series of tutorials as part of the program, facilitated by NAR.

“This is a great opportunity for REALTORS in our area to reach out and get new communities involved in our profession,” said Lynn Sanborn, President of Seattle King County REALTORS®. “If you would like to share your knowledge with an aspiring young person looking for career help, or you know someone who is getting started and needs some help, have them contact us.”

The Mentorship program is an initiative from NAR President Charlie Oppler. Details on the program and forms to apply as a Mentor or a Mentee can be found through an online platform:
