2022 Board election results: Rachel Mehmedagic (Adler) elected 2022 President, Sharon O’Mahony President-Elect
Over 1,000 members cast ballots in the recent election for the Seattle King County REALTOR® Board of Directors. The 21 Officers and Directors will take office on January 1, 2022, as they oversee the strategic direction of the Association and prioritize services for the membership.
“We had an incredibly experienced group of candidates this year. I’m grateful to all those who put their names forward,” said 2022 President Rachel Mehmedagic (Adler). “Our goal was to attract a slate of nominees that truly reflects the diversity of our membership. We’re proud of the engagement and turnout this election generated among our members.”
Fifty-three percent of voters said it was the first time they had participated in a Board election. There were a record 17 candidates who ran for the four available at-large Director positions. The 1,033 ballots cast was also a record.
