Congratulations to our Q2 2022 Good Neighbor Award Winner, David Hogan!

Our Seattle King County REALTORS® Q2 2022 Good Neighbor Award Winner, David Hogan, REALTOR® at Windermere Real Estate – Bellevue, takes pride in the mission of his non-profit organization Kitchen-to-Table. David started Kitchen-to-Table in 2012 as a way to give back to local communities. For every transaction completed by David, Kitchen-to-Table donates a minimum of 1,000 pounds of produce to local families in need.

One home sold equals 1,000 pounds of fresh produce donated to local food banks.

Kitchen-to-Table only donates fresh produce. This increases access to nutritious food for those who wouldn’t otherwise have it. Kitchen-to-Table is dedicated to building healthier communities which is why they have joined with non-profit organizations such as Harvest Against Hunger to collaborate with farmers in Washington State to prevent food loss and ensure equity of access to food across different communities.

Since its inception, Kitchen-to-Table has donated over 500,000 pounds of local produce.

David Hogan was presented with a Q2 2022 Good Neighbor Certificate at his Windermere Real Estate – Bellevue office, accompanied by D’Ann Jackson, Branch Manager. Kitchen-to-Table received $500 in honor of David’s recognition.

“It’s my way to allow clients moving out of the area to give back to the community one last time, or for the new homeowners to contribute to their new neighborhood in a positive way,” said David. “It helps families in need and encourages a culture of giving back overall.”

David helps pack and ship produce whenever he can and even doubled the donation for each home purchase in 2020 and 2021 to help with impacts of COVID-19.

“I want to increase awareness of the need for programs like this in our own backyards and do something to contribute to solving the need,” said David.
