Congratulations to our Q4 2022 Good Neighbor, Kim Davis!
Our Q4 2022 Good Neighbor Kim Davis, Managing Broker and Branch Manager at Davis Group Real Estate – Atelier Homes, is a familiar friendly face in the heart of Burien. She is a committed volunteer at Discover Burien, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) service organization dedicated to economic development and community engagement in Burien.
Discover Burien was founded in 2002 by a passionate and dedicated group of business owners who wanted to be part of growing the success of the community. That spirit and tradition continues to inspire everything the organization does today and Kim’s involvement in the past four years exemplifies that.
Kim regularly volunteers and sponsors community events held by Discover Burien throughout the year. She also serves on many committees that creates and plans the events.
Whether it’s a community social event, an educational event, or a cultural event, her efforts have contributed to Discover Burien earning critical funds that make these events possible and benefits thousands of citizens each year.
Clean Sweep is one of their annual events where more than 200 volunteers canvas the city picking up garbage to beautify the community. Kim puts together and sponsors the Wine Walk twice a year which encourages community members and visitors to stroll around Downtown Burien to sample wine and support local shops.
Other events Kim takes pride in being a part of include Burien Pride to foster a welcoming city and Boo in Burien on Halloween weekend to engage the youth in our community.

National Night Out strengthens neighbor-to-neighbor connections and police-community partnerships. Held on the first Tuesday in August, this annual event brings together communities across the nation, and involves residents, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and local officials.
“In real estate and in volunteering, it’s all about being of service and helping others,” said Kim. “When I was looking for an organization to invest my time and efforts in, I couldn’t think of a better place than Discover Burien as their mission and story aligned with mine. I truly believe that real estate has afforded me the opportunity to be able to give back to my community financially and through volunteering in many different ways.”
Aside from Discover Burien, Kim previously spent four years on the City of Burien Planning Commission and currently serves on the Business and Economic Development Partnership to provide guidance and direction to the City Council on Burien’s future growth economic development.
