CIPS – Global Real Estate: Local Markets

The Global Real Estate: Local Markets course is the prerequisite course for the CIPS Designation. This introductory course offers students an overview of the international real estate business environment, including capital flow, currencies, government regulations and cultures. Topics such as international brokerage, networking, marketing, and selling will also be discussed.
Global real estate opportunities are everywhere. People move to the U.S. from other countries every day and foreign-born individuals residing in the U.S. move to new markets. Americans in your current market may look to invest in property overseas. No matter which audience you cater to, the CIPS designation will provide you with the knowledge, research, network and tools to globalize and expand your business.
Instructor: Mark Kitabayashi has been practicing residential real estate for 17 years in WA. His experiences and expertise of managing, Office, REO Team, New Construction Team, and International real estate, plus His involvement with REALTORS® Association (Local & State President, NAR Director, and NAR Leadership Team) brings multiple dimension into his class room. His former experience as legal assistant, corporate travel agent, Manager of import/export company certainly shaped his business and teaching style. His goal on teaching is to give students practical idea that they can use on their business on daily bases.
