Social Media Video in a Box – In Person Training

The Problem
Most social media video kind of sucks. That’s because most people lack the skill set to conceive, present, and shoot video – especially video for their business social media and marketing.

The Solution
Social Media Video in a Box. This is a one day – 8-hour training that takes students from beginning to end to teach them how to make business-level video social media.

How it Works

1. Pre-Course Videos
After registration, students are sent to a webpage with a few videos to get ready for the course. Watching the videos and practicing the skills should take about an hour.

The Pro Shot App (recommended but not required)
How to transfer collateral from a phone to a computer
How to upload to a cloud account
The Problem and solution story concept

2. The Course
The course is one-day presented in 2 sections.

Section 1 – Start Here / 4.0 Hours
This section gives you the groundwork and specific knowledge you need to make a business level video on any topic. There are 11 modules in this section:

1. Behind the Camera
2. Workflow
3. Story Concept + Storyboard
4. Simple Shot Framing + Background
5. Aspect Ratio, Resolution, Frame Rate
6. Audio Basics for Video
7. Lighting Basics for Video
8. Lighting Equipment
9. The Simple Smartphone Rig
10. Presenting the “Real” You
11. Testimonials

Section 2 – The Evergreen Selfie Case Study / 4.0 Hours
This section is an activity.

The instructor(s) will be there to facilitate as needed.

Students pair up with a partner and work together to write and shoot two Evergreen Selfies – one for each. These will be done with the same script.

3. Upload
After writing and shooting their videos, students will upload their collateral to a cloud account and send us the link.

4. Editing
We will take the uploaded collateral and send back (2) professional edits of the video students shot. One in 16 x 9 (YouTube) and one in 9 x 16 (Instagram).

5. Zoom Call
One week after the course, there will be a scheduled 1-hour Zoom call that students can join to ask questions, stay connected,….
