Affiliate Spotlight: Lisa Lotus, Taurus Home Inspections

Lisa Lotus, the owner of Taurus Home Inspections, runs her business on relationships and education. She works closely with REALTORS® to promote the benefits of home inspection to buyers and sellers and makes herself available for questions and home services referrals even outside the inspection appointment window.

A little bit about Lisa

Why did you become an Affiliate with Seattle King County REALTORS®? I want to meet as many real estate agents as possible so we can connect and educate each other about our businesses and provide the best customer service to our clients. I want everyone to walk away from the home inspection experience with a good feeling.

What do you enjoy most about working in your field? I love being a home inspector. I love figuring out what's really concerning and what really isn't. I love communicating my findings to clients and agents. I like the collegial feeling I have with other inspectors and with many agents I've worked with for a long time. I also really like getting into crawl spaces and seeing what's REALLY going on underneath it all!

What was your very first job? Babysitting, probably like a lot of women.

What is your preferred vacation type? Museums and restaurants

If you could work remotely from anywhere in the world, where would you go? Hawaii

What is your favorite local tourist attraction/activity? Volunteer Park Conservatory or Chihuly Garden and Glass at Seattle Center

Are you a dog person or a cat person? Both
