Highlights from the Missing Middle Housing Tour, March 30, 2023

On March 30th, the Seattle King County REALTORS® hosted over sixty mayors, council members, city planners, stakeholders, and REALTORS® on a tour of missing middle housing. Traveling across Kirkland and Redmond, attendees walked down two blocks of alleyway lined with ADUs, visited a cottage housing development, and inspected a small lot development, while also viewing duplexes, triplexes, townhomes, and more from the bus windows. Following the tour, attendees were joined by more REALTORS® for a Lunch-and-Learn featuring Opticos Design.
A secret to no one, our region is in the midst of a housing crisis. It is imperative that we continue to advocate for more housing options so more of our neighbors can afford to be homeowners.
