A little more about Wendy

How do you work with REALTORS® and their clients? I partner as a true extension of my agent partners’ businesses, bringing both heart and compassion to every transaction. I guide clients with clarity and smart loan strategy so they can make confident offers, while supporting agents with strong communication, clean approvals, and proactive problem-solving to protect timelines and strengthen negotiations.

I stay hands-on from pre-approval through closing, addressing challenges early and keeping everyone aligned. My approach blends compassion with performance, personalized guidance for buyers, dependable follow-through for agents, and a shared commitment to smooth closings and great outcomes.

What is a common misconception you encounter about your field of work? A common misconception about mortgage lending is that it’s just about the rate. While pricing absolutely matters, a mortgage is far more than a number. It’s a strategy, a structure, and a process that has to hold together under pressure.

Another misconception is that all lenders operate the same way. In reality, the difference in communication, underwriting strength, and execution can dramatically impact timelines, negotiations, and the overall experience.

For me, this work is about more than transactions. It’s about guiding people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives with clarity, integrity, and care. I want to make sure they feel confident every step of the way.

What was your very first job? What is one lesson you learned at that job? My very first job was at a clothing store called Bealle’s. It’s where I learned what real customer service actually looks like; paying attention, listening, being patient, and making people feel cared for.

That lesson stuck with me. Whether someone is shopping for clothes or buying a home, everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and treated with kindness. It’s something I carry into my work every single day.

Are you a dog person or a car person? Cat

What kind of car are you and why? I am Range Rover Evoque energy — polished but practical, strong without being loud, and built for real life. Stylish, dependable, and comfortable in just about any terrain. I bring warmth, steadiness, and a little sparkle, and I help people feel supported while getting them where they need to go. Luxury with heart.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Solving any hard situation.
