Summer Networking at Its Finest: Mix & Mingle at Matthews Winery

More than 50 Seattle King County REALTORS® members gathered at Matthews Winery in Woodinville on July 30 for an afternoon of networking and summer fun.
With sunny skies, a beautiful winery setting, and plenty of opportunities to connect, the event offered members a chance to expand their professional networks, meet potential business partners, and reconnect with colleagues in a relaxed setting during the peak of summer. We heard conversations on market trends and friendly debates over wine varieties, showing the gathering provided the perfect atmosphere for building connections.
In addition to networking, attendees received an introduction to Seattle King County REALTORS®' August Food & Funds Drive benefiting Rainier Valley Food Bank. Affiliate Council Chair Kelcey Myers shared details about this year's campaign and challenged members to help achieve the organization's fundraising goal of $10,000 to support local families facing food insecurity.
The Food & Funds Drive is one of SKCR's annual community service efforts, giving members an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting a vital neighborhood resource. Myers encouraged attendees to collect food and hygiene donations for the mid-month collection day on August 12 at SKCR and to help spread awareness of the month-long campaign to raise money.
