Seattle King County REALTORS® Receives 2026 GOLD Global Achievement Award
October 28, 2026
Seattle King County REALTORS® (SKCR) is proud to announce that it has received the 2026 GOLD Global Achievement Award from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), recognizing the association's outstanding commitment to global outreach, education, and international engagement.
The award recognizes REALTOR® associations that demonstrate exceptional service and engagement through global programs and initiatives that connect members with international real estate opportunities.
For 17 years, SKCR has served as NAR's Ambassador Association to Japan, building strong relationships with Japanese real estate professionals and creating opportunities for members to expand their global networks, exchange industry knowledge, and develop lasting professional and personal connections.
Through its longstanding partnership with the Japan-America Real Estate Coalition Office (JARECO), SKCR offers several opportunities for members to participate in international real estate activities, including:
· Annual Japan Homestay Program: Each July, SKCR members welcome visiting Japanese real estate professionals into their homes, sharing their daily lives, businesses, and communities while building meaningful cross-cultural friendships.
· Japan Trade Missions: SKCR organizes trips to Japan that combine real estate education, professional networking, and cultural experiences. The most recent trade mission took place in May 2026, with the next trip planned for fall 2027.
SKCR will be recognized for this achievement at the Global Business Councils Forum during NAR NXT in New Orleans on November 5, 2026.
Interested in getting involved? SKCR members are encouraged to participate in upcoming global programs and discover the professional and personal rewards of building international connections.
