Cascade PBS Ideas Festival: Quench Your Curiosity

Save the date! The Cascade PBS Ideas Festival is on May 4. The daylong event at the Amazon Meeting Center (2031 7th Ave, Seattle) brings together journalists, politicians, authors, thought leaders, and newsmakers to examine the people, policies, and events that shape our lives.

The event features a stellar lineup of in-person and virtual speakers with a wide spectrum of viewpoints, experiences, and affiliations. The program also includes meetups, workshops, and interactive experiences.

Current speakers include:

Ta-Nehisi Coates, David Hogg, Malcolm Gladwell, Heather Cox Richardson, John Bolton, Lindy West, Nada Bshir, Celeste Headlee, Elahe Izadi, Naomi Fry, David Greene, Alexandra Schwartz, Sarah Isgur, Mo Elleithee, Martine Powers, Meagan Hatcher-Mays, David Rind, and many more to be announced!

As a public media organization, Cascade PBS aims to foster open and respectful dialogue about important issues” and acts as neutral mediator.

Ticket options include at Festival Pass priced at $25 or a VIP ticket priced at $100.

Cascade PBS is the media partner for this year’s Seattle King County First Citizen Award. Seattle Kraken CEO Tod Leiweke will be honored as the 86th recipient of the prestigious award at a civic banquet on May 16 at the Westin Bellevue. Visit SeattleFirstCitizen.org for tickets.
